

Phil was born February 27, 1940, in Bean Blossom, IN, the son of James Ernest and Audrey Ruth Sperro Richardson. He married Helen Jeanette Horn on June 6, 1964, in New Berlin, IL.
Phil proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Local 965 International Union of Operating Engineers and worked as an operating engineer for 43 years. Phil was a member of Divernon Lodge #1158 A.F. & A.M. and Loami Lodge #450 A.F. & A.M. where he had served as Past-Worshipful Master for both Lodges. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, woodworking, hunting for morels in the spring, and plowing snow in the winter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Richardson.
Phil is survived by his wife, Helen Richardson of Pleasant Plains; daughters, Lisa (Barry) Welsh and Laura (Randy) Dambacher, both of Divernon; four grandchildren, Breanne (Colin) Liss of Chatham, Karley (Jimmy) Winters of Seattle, WA, Austin Dambacher of Divernon and Carissa Dambacher of Peoria; two great-grandchildren, Gentry and Arlow Liss; and many extended family members including brother and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Visitation & Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 600 W. Birch St., New Berlin, IL 62670. Masonic rites will be provided at 11:00 a.m. and the Funeral Ceremony will follow with Rev. Reg Mills officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodwreath Cemetery.
