Randall "Randy" N. Whitlock

Randy was born on August 13, 1959, in Carrollton, IL, the son of the late Randall and Edna Williams Whitlock. He married Becky L. Proctor on June 4, 1983.

Randy worked on the family farm and for Envelope Factory in Roodhouse, IL. He became a Mail Handler with the United States Post Office on December 11, 1978 and retired on August 31, 2012. Randy and Becky built their forever home in Loami in May of 2020. His dreams were fulfilled taking care of the cows with his nephew, Jake. Randy loved the animals, planting a garden, cooking, helping family and friends, and riding motorcycles with his son, Terry, and his grandson, Steven.

He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Midge Hunter.

He is survived by his son, Terry Winterbauer; grandson, Steven (wife, Hannah) Miller; granddaughter, Abby Nix; siblings, Betty (husband, Raymond) Talkington, Amber (husband, Bert) Hagen, and Vanessa (husband, Johnny) Santini; brothers-in-law, John (wife, Terri) Proctor and Mark (wife, Debbie) Proctor; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great- nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Cindy Lash officiating.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies.
