

Robert William Oldham, 81, of Springfield passed away at 10:59 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2003 at his residence. He was born in Centralia,IL, November 19, 1921, son of Richard June and Pauline Redus Oldham. He married Mary Louise Schultz on August 28, 1946 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Centralia, IL. Robert was a member of Christ The King Church. He was a WWII United States Army Veteran and a Sergeant in Company F 355th Engineers. He was employed by Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 32 years, retiring in May 1980. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife; Mary Louise of Springfield, two sons; Steve (wife, Shawn) Oldham of St. Peters, MO, Scott (wife, Judy) Oldham of Joliet, two daughters; June (husband, Jim) Eagan of Springfield and Sue (husband, Lee) Park of Buffalo, thirteen grandchildren, two sisters; Marjorie Hoyt of Centralia and Doris Kline of Ellicott, MD and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2003. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at Christ The King Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. David S.
