He was born November 13, 1951 in Peoria, IL the son of the late Robert and Marjorie Bowman Pennington. He married Sharon Stone on September 27, 1975.
Ken is survived by his wife, three sisters, Linda Fritz and Carole Pennington Ehlers of Los Angeles, CA and Connie (Mark) Kniery; two brothers, Barry Keith of Shawnee, KS and Kirkpatrick (Pattiey) of Rock Ford, CO; an uncle and several nieces and nephews.
Ken graduated from Springfield High School. He retired from Healthcare and Family Services in 2003.

Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, April 19 at Vineyard Christian Church.
