Robert H. Pittman, Sr.

Robert H. Pittman, Sr., 65, of Springfield, died at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center. Robert was born September 16, 1938 in Springfield the son of Robert G. Pittman and Ellen Stravens Blanchard. He married Louann T. Becker Burnett, September 1, 1972 in Lincoln, IL. Mr. Pittman was a 1956 graduate of Lanphier High School and then attended Bradley University in Peoria. He was owner and Chief Executive Officer of Professional Adjustment Bureau for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Phillip J. Pittman. He is survived by wife: Louann T. of Springfield; one daughter: Laura L. Menghini of Athens; three sons: Robert H. (wife Angela) Pittman, Jr. of Springfield, Brian P. (wife, Shelly) Burnett of Springfield, Whitney J. (wife, Heather) Burnett of Chatham; nine grandchildren: Amber R. Pittman, Robert H. Pittman III, Nikolas B. Shaughnessy, Sadie E. Menghini, Amy M. Menghini, Kara C. Pittman, Clayton P. Burnett, Nolan H. Burnett, Sophie A. Burnett; two nieces, two nephews and one cousin. Family will receive friends from 4-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Becker officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
