Robin Sue Krone, 72, of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, passed away on January 23, 2025 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 28, 1952 to Robert Raps and Sue Hinds Raps. Robin married Kevin W. Krone and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2021.
Mrs. Krone is survived by her children: Christopher (Lisa) Carter and Jaymie (Aaron) Babel, three grandchildren: Robison, Madyson and K.C. Carter, one brother Rodney Raps as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Robin worked as the director of Prairie Skies Public Library. She enjoyed reading, audiobooks crocheting and puzzle and mystery games. Robin was a big fan of cheesy movies and TV shows, musicals and dogs.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Pleasant Plains, Illinois. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to PAWS of Jacksonville, Illinois or to Prairie Skies Public Library of Pleasant Plains, Illinois.
