He was born on November 13, 1956 in Springfield, the son of the late Olin Bliss and Rita (Coleman) Greenwood.
He is survived by his wife Debbie (Harrison) Greenwood; 2 children, Ronald Olin Greenwood, Jr., and Kelsey Nicole Greenwood; 2 sisters, Linda (husband Brian) Venerick, and Nancy (husband Gary) Kremitzki; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Snodgrass, and a nephew, Scott Kremitzki.
He was a dedicated hard working lifetime mechanic and enjoyed being with his family and also enjoyed fishing.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield where visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 4 to 6 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10 am at Roselawn Memorial Park, Springfield.
