Rosalie E. Buchanan, 83, of Springfield died at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 23, 2004 at St. John’s Hospital. Rosalie was born August 12, 1921 in Auburn, the daughter of Louie and Celina F. Hubert Plumier, Sr. She married Loren Joseph Buchanan and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Rosalie is survived by one sister; Celina V. Heffernan of Springfield and one brother; Louie (wife, Marylin) Plumier of Chatham and one niece and two nephews. She was employed by Security Federal as a Bookkeeper for many years. Rosalie attended the Chatham Christian Church. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Rev. Rick Wenneborg officiating.
