Ruth Wilcox, 92, of Springfield, died on Friday, August 22, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. Ruth was born on August 19, 1916 in Mosquito Township, OH, the daughter of Clinton P. and Lillian Traftzer Craig. Ruth spent 19 years as an administrative assistant at Globe Life Insurance. She was a member of Survivors Club and enjoyed caring for her home and yard. Preceding Ruth in death were her husband, Kenneth Wilcox; her parents; and her siblings, Mildred Craig, Lawrence Craig, Stella Robertson, Bessie Robinson, Mike Craig, Claude Craig, Neva Vobliza, and Anna Mae Armstrong. She is survived by her sisters, Beulah (husband, Lawrence) Wright of Chatham and Thelma (husband, Clarence) Walston of Anchorage, AK; as well as several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 10:00 10:45 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral ceremonies will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Patzia, officiating.
