Sally Jane White

Sally was born on August 25, 1931 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Milo C. White and Irene Poffenberger White.

Sally graduated from Springfield High School in 1949 and the University of Illinois in 1953. She was employed by Eastern Airlines and then Delta Airlines in St. Louis, MO and Tampa Bay, FL until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia W. “Patty” Morgan; her niece, Becky Morgan (husband, Craig) Webb; three great-nephews and nieces; three great-great nephews and nieces all of Monticello, IL; and her beloved poodle, Spanky.

Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Avenue West, Springfield.

Private family burial will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
