Sheila Ann Edwards-McFadden

Sheila Ann Edwards-McFadden, 72, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at her home on July 4, 2016. She was born on May 19, 1944 in Taylorville to the late Lemoyne M. and Charles Louise Suiter Edwards. She graduated from Pana High School in 1962. Sheila retired from the State of Illinois, as the Director of Nurse�s Aides Certification, after 30 years of service. Sheila enjoyed helping others, whether it was directly offering friendship and care or indirectly by donating and shopping at area charity connected stores. She looked for quality goods and had an eye for bling! She enjoyed decorating indoors and outdoors especially with flowers from her garden. She will be greatly missed by her son, William �BJ� (Shannon) Crawford, II of Loami; daughter, Annette Wieneke of Springfield; grandchildren, Emma Crawford of Springfield; Alex Withers of Bloomington, and Cameron Withers of Loami; sister Nicole Edwards of Springfield; companion, Joseph McFadden of Springfield and his sons, Brian, Kevin and Mike from Springfield; nephew, Jason Swedick of Miami, AZ and many friends. Cremation rites will be accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois in Chatham, before services. An informal celebration of Sheila�s life will be held 4pm-7pm, July 7 at Staab Polk Memorial Home 8855 State Route 4, Chatham. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor�s choice. Staab Polk Memorial Home, Chatham, is serving Sheila�s family.
