Stanley Allison, 74, of Buffalo, died on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at home. Stanley was born July 16, 1936 in Tecumseh, MI to Jim Eugene and Avis Waneta Boone Allison. He married Martha Ann Stephens on March 15, 1967. Stanley retired from Horace Mann. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, David Allison. He is survived by his wife, Martha Ann Allison of Buffalo; two daughters, Marie Smokowski and Kathy (Mark) Johnson; ten grandchildren, A.J., Ashley, Allison, Remington, Benjamin, Anastasia, Abigail, Melody, Molly and Jedidiah; one great-grandchild, Caiden; and sister, Janet (Larry) Bryant. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following visitation.
