Sue was born September 3, 1953 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Doris Lowery Schaeffer. She married Sam Janusweski on May 17, 1996; he preceded her in death in 2012.
Sue graduated from Springfield High School and worked as an account manager for Federated Funeral Directors Association for 43 years. She was a member of The Carillon Belles, and loved art, photography, floral arranging, genealogy, traveling, crafting, and sharks.
Sue was also preceded in death by her parents; and former husband, Dave Wood.
She is survived by her sons, Jared Wood and Jason Wood, both of Springfield; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Ceremony and Visitation: 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Ave. West, Springfield with Rev. Julia Melgreen officiating. A visitation will follow until 6:00 p.m.
