Susan Niccolls

Susan Niccolls, 75, of Springfield, died at 1:37 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Susan was born April 20, 1938, in Pekin. She was a 1956 graduate of Springfield High School. After high school she worked at CIPS as an executive assistant. She later worked at Dr. Konzelmann's office as an office manager for 35 years. She then worked at Physician's Group until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of Southside Christian Church and was a high school youth sponsor. Susan enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards, and feeding and watching birds. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Boone and one brother, Harold Caudle, Jr. Surviving are her children, Diane K. Brewer of Chatham and Richard (wife, Traci) Niccolls of Grand Prairie, TX; five grandchildren, Kristen (husband, Theo) Spilman of Chatham, Matthew (wife, Erin) Brewer of Springfield, Leah, Lauren and Joshua Niccolls, all of Grand Prairie, TX; two nephews, Todd Caudle and Steve (wife, Krissy) Caudle; two nieces, Kelly Caudle and Jennifer Alexander; and cousins, Dick Seggel and Celia Panglis. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Southside Christian Church, 2600 S. MacArthur Blvd., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Southside Christian Church with Brooks Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
