

Tygh Jeffrey Ellis, 23, of Springfield, died at 2:11 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2003 in Springfield. He was born November 27, 1979 in Springfield, the son of Ronald E. Ellis and Lynda Tozer Ellis. Tygh was a 1998 graduate of Williamsville High School. He previously worked at General Communications and was currently employed at Robert’s Seafood. Tygh was a member of Muscle Corporation. He enjoyed weight lifting, hunting, fishing, four wheeling and being with his friends. Tygh had passed several tests to qualify to be a firemen. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delores Duncan and grandfather, Ronald Ellis. He is survived by his mother: Lynda K (husband, Pete) Alagna of Riverton; father: Ronald E (wife, Sandy) Ellis of Mt. Pulaski; one sister: Heather Brixey of Springfield; one brother: R.C. Ellis of Mt. Pulaski; two step brothers: Tony Alagna of Springfield, and Petey Alagna of Momence; grandparents: Richard and Gwen Tozer of Maroa; one niece, Haley Claycomb of Riverton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2003. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola and Dr. Roger Rominger officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tygh Ellis Memorial Fund, Illinois State Police Federal Credit Union, 3000 S. 6th St. Springfield, Il 62703.
