Victoria "Tori" Renee Garner, 20, of Springfield, passed away at 1:39 a.m. on March 26, 2010 at St John's Hospital. She was born July 5, 1989 in Tucson, AZ, the daughter of Robert and Debra Leatherman Garner. Tori graduated from Southeast High School in 2006 and later became a homemaker and mother. She belonged to the Job's Daughters Bethel 49 of Decatur. She loved animals, especially horses, watching wrestling and also loved cooking. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Alberta Powell; and her grandfather, Junior Garner. Tori is survived by her parents; her companion Sean Griffin of Springfield; her son, Braiden Garner Griffin of Springfield; sisters, Jennifer and Angela Garner both of Springfield; her brother, James Garner of Bluffs; her grandmother, Mary VanHyning of Sierra Vista, AZ; her nieces, Brandi and Rita; her nephews, Dalton and Seth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held from 5:00 8:00 p.m., on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. The Job's Daughters Bethel 49 will conduct a Living Cross Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. Funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, with Pastor Dave Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
