Virginia Mary Furrow, 86, of Springfield, died at 2:05 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 at her home. Virginia was born May 14, 1928 in Springfield, the daughter of Ernest A. and Mary Dorothy Micklus Greenan. She married William Roy Furrow on January 14, 1947 in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, William Roy Furrow, II; one brother, William Greenan; and one infant brother, Patrick Greenan. She is survived by her husband, William Roy Furrow; two daughters, Jean Ann (Jim) Staley and Judy Carol (Steve) Denardo; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and siblings, Peter, Charles, Annabelle, and Mariella Greenan, and Dorothy Warrington. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Private family burial will be held.
