

Alex was born in Alexandria, Virginia, to Kathleen and Alan Gordon on April 26, 1990. He graduated from South County with a Special Diploma in 2011. He attended MVLE, a day program for adults with special needs, from 2011 until the present.
Alex lived with Prader-Willi Syndrome, and through both joys and challenges, he showed remarkable resilience. His presence made an indelible mark on those who knew him. He will always be remembered and cherished by his family and friends for his warm, gentle spirit, pure heart, sense of humor, and the love he shared so freely.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Gordon; father, Alan Gordon; brothers, Matthew, Bradley, Kyle, and Ryan; sister, Meredith; uncles John Frye and David Gordon; and grandparents, Leonard and Naomi Hacker, who will carry forward his memory with love.
Friends and family are invited to attend this formal viewing and to share a note or memory of Alex on this webpage.
A separate Celebration of Life will also be held at Christ Church at a later date to honor his memory. Details will be shared when available.
The family welcomes donations to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA), supporting a cause meaningful to Alex’s life and legacy.
