Sister Charmie, please accept our condolences. One of the things I remember about Bernie is his faithfulness in his service to God, family and friends. I also think of the good times we had together when, at our house, he would play his violin, I'd be at the keyboard, and we'd all together sing joyful songs unto the Lord. What about the time we spent at St. Michael's in Maryland when we savored roasted perch that Nilo caught at the nearby beach? After unexpectedly and suddenly losing my husband almost seven years ago, though I may no longer grieve, I miss his presence, especially in my children's lives. I've known Mrs Salas husband for a very short time but I became very close with Mrs Charmie we work,together I only met Mr Salas 1 time and I kept him,in my prayers and always gave Charmie spirituals and told her keep the faith in the Lord she is a very strong Christian women I will always be by her side no matter what my heart goes out to Sunshine may God continue to bless your family

I knew bro. Bernie thru Sunshine. I am blessed and inspired by His life . A family man he was , even with his busy schedules back in the days. Making time for bible studies and church activities. God's good servant ...you have finished the race! Praise God for your life !

I met Bro. Bernie along with his family at Word for the World Shangri-la (then we moved at Metrobank Pasay Rd.) and he was one of the big shots in GMA7. Yet, despite of his high position, Bro. Bernie is so down to earth, always smiling at church, active in the ministry.  I know he loves his family (adores both his wife and daughter - Sunshine).

My memories of Bro. Bernie has always been that smiley, kind, approachable person.  Am sad to hear that he passed away.  But knowing how much he loves God, I know, he is in a place where he longed for - in the arms of His Heavenly Father.

Ate Charmie, Shine - my deep sympathy. :(

It's still vivid in our memories when he was still leading the Arlington Bible Study under Faith for Living Church!  What a great servant of God!
