We were fellow parishioners at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Rancho Penasquitos with Christopher and Ann for many years and he shared (only after being asked the right questions) a few of his WWII war stories while serving with the 442. He was a quiet giant and very decisive, whether on the field at war or in the community which needed his help. There were many 442 vets at Ann's memorial service and I got to talk with some of them. They absolutely LOVED Christopher as a leader and as a friend. Now that Christopher and Ann have reunited in Heaven, we wish their family the blessings which personified their parents. Please accept our condolences and may Christopher Rest In Eternal Peace.

I never had the honor of knowing Col. Keegan. I never heard of him until I read his obituary in the Cincinnati Enquirer. I have rarely been moved by someone I have never met, but the short obit described such a giant of a man, I want to express my condolences to his family. What a hero he was and how proud his family must be. I think Tom Brokaw was thinking of this man when he titled his best seller! I lost my dad 10 years ago and he was cut from the same cloth as Col. Keegan. I would have loved to have met him. I read his obit to my six children and asked them to think of the Col. as they went to sleep tonight and to thank him and his generation for all they have done for us.
