Clyde Vernon Hampton III

Clyde “Chip” V. Hampton III, age 61, from Springfield, Virginia passed away on April 26, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father Clyde V. Hampton Jr. and leaves behind his mother, Ruth Hampton of Alexandria, Virginia. He is also survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 39 years, Karen Hampton, and daughters, Stacey Callaman (Justin) and Jenna Tabatabaian (Joe). He was “Pap” to three grandchildren who were his pride and joy – Carys, Lincoln Callaman and Isla Tabatabaian. Chip enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest – he was always surrounded by family and friends, including “the Village”. If you asked him, he would tell you that he single-handedly raised all of his nieces and his nephew. A visitation will be held at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, Virginia on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM.
