Daniel Mark Gardner

Daniel Mark Gardner, 60, of Alexandria, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 13, 2020 on a beautiful sunny Friday in Ormond Beach, FL. Daniel was born July 29, 1959 in Fort Lee, Virginia to Robert L Gardner and Edna H Gardner and was the youngest of four brothers. He is survived by his only son Danny Jr., brothers Stephen and Drew and many close loved ones, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert L Gardner and Edna H Gardner, and is brother Robert L (Bob) Gardner Jr. During high school he took a carpentry class which started him on the path to be the master carpenter he became and he loved his profession. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going on long rides with his friends. He loved going to baseball games, playing golf, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He was kind and compassionate and would help out just about anyone he could without ever asking for anything in return. He was a great father and mentor and would have been an even better grand father. He left behind a great legacy, and will be greatly missed by many but his kindness and loving personality will never be forgotten.
