JB belonged to a number of civic organizations throughout the community of Springfield, VA, and numerous veteran organizations including the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, VFW Home for Children, Optimist Club, Civic Club of Springfield, and others.
JB was a retired US Army St Major, having served for 30 years.
A VFW memorial service and viewing will be held on Saturday, March 12 from 1-4 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield.
