A memorial service is scheduled for 11 am Saturday, February 10 at the Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, Virginia.
Janet was an avid sailor, skier, traveler and bridge-player, who had only kind words for everyone she met. She was born Feb. 28, 1944 in Somerset, Pennsylvania. The daughter of Harry and Maude Powell, Janet attended Shade High School and Hagerstown Business College. She was married 42 wonderful years to Dr. Arthur M. Reynolds, Jr., and resided along the Potomac River in Mason Neck, Virginia.
Janet is survived by her husband; her sister, Diane Stopa; one daughter (Susan Reynolds Spies); two stepchildren (Arthur Reynolds, III and Beverly Reynolds Raudabaugh), seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
