Janet Terrell
Of Lorton, VA, on May 6, at the age of 64. Beloved wife of 37 years to Calvin Twyman; caring mother of Christina Bevon Twyman; dear sister of Gregory Terrell and Robert Terrell; and loving aunt of Anthony Free, James Rice, Gregory Terrell, Jr., and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Janet proudly worked as a federal employee for 20 years, finishing as an executive secretary in the Office of the President of the United States, serving during the Reagan and George H.W. Bush administrations.
Friends welcome at the St. Raymond of Peñafort Catholic Church, 8750 Pohick Rd, Springfield, VA on Monday, May 12 from 10:30 – 11: 30 am to greet the family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am, and a reception will immediately follow. Interment at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 4001 Suitland Rd, Suitland, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Janet’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
