Josephine C. Whibley

Josephine was born in Baltimore MD at home above the family owned grocery store to Luciano and Giuseppa Chillari on February 26, 1930. She was baptized at St. Mary’s in Annapolis MD in 1933. She married Francis Whibley on January 28, 1956 at St. Dominic’s in Washington, DC. She was a business co-owner with her husband for over 40 years. She was a member of the SW Lady’s Club of Washington.

Josephine is preceded in death by her Husband Francis, her two sons, James and Joseph, and a Daughter-in-Law Rebecca Ann

Josephine is survived by her sons Michael, Richard and (Spouse) Dorothy, Steven and Frank, and a Daughter-in-Law Lori, her Grandchildren Matthew, Connor, Nina, Tory, Frankie, Erin, Caitlyn, Christina Marie and Amber, her Great Grandchildren, Paige, Layla, Ethan, Becca and Garner.

Pallbearers will be sons Michael, Richard, Steven and Frank, Grandson Tory, and Nephew Danny

Visitation will be Thursday April- 4th, 5-7pm at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield ,Va.

Funeral services will be held 11am, on April 5th, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Arlington, with Fr. Posey of the Cathedral of St. Thomas More officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery Arrangements are by Demaine Funeral Home
