Mrs. Linda Holmes Stock

On Sunday, March 29, at age 67, after a long battle with a form of Parkinson’s Disease.

Beloved wife of Gary for 43 years; dear Mother of Suzanne and Julie; and loving Grandma to Jessica, Lauren, and Elena.

Linda was a native Floridian, grew up in Tampa, graduated from Florida State Univ, and became a teacher, especially loving the kids and families at Beverley Hills Church Preschool, Alexandria, for 25 years. She was a Scout leader, liked her garden, and enjoyed the 24 trips to the Caribbean with Gary; she passed with beach shells in her hand.

Linda & family were long-time members of Hope Lutheran, Annandale, where she was a youth sponsor and in the bell choir. She then became a member of Lord of Life, Fairfax.

Visitation will be at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield, Apr 10, 2:30 – 5:00 and a Memorial Service will be held at Hope Lutheran, Annandale, Apr 11, 11:00.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Parkinson Foundation of Greater Washington and the Linda Stock Library at Beverley Hills Church Preschool.
