.Of Springfield, VA on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Coon in 2002. Devoted mother of Patricia Shepherd and Gary Coon; beloved mother-in-law of George V. Shepherd, Jr.; loving sister of Virginia Miles, Mary Fore and P.V. Boone, Jr.; grandmother of Debbie Shepherd and Marie Hottman. She is also survived by a great- granddaughter, Haley Hottman and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday April 8 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 12 noon at the DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, 5308 Backlick, Rd., Springfield, VA. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
