I just hope Norm realized how many people loved and appreciated him.  He was a great friend and I will miss him.

Farewell to the #1 troubleshooter in NTC. No problem was too small for you, and I enjoyed working with you. Everybody wanted Norm to help because of his tenacity on those difficult troubles. You and Ana both were kind to me during my years in NORVA. When I finally was promoted to COT, I had hoped to work with you and the crew, but I went to translations instead. Nevertheless, I still got to see all of you on a daily basis, until I transferred to Richmond, Va. Thank you for your patience and willingness to help, and may you get your angel wings!

You will be missed, my dear friend.  I miss our "talks and texts" and your witty sense of humor so very much already...we just spoke the other day - your calm words and laughter will be severely missed and forever remembered.

Norm was a very special person...always very helpful when needed to troubleshoot a C.O. problem...always pointed me in the right direction to get the job done.  Thanks Norm...you will be missed.   R.I.P.

In the short time I worked with Norm, I found him to be somewhat of a "non chalant rebel". He did things within a  time frame that seemed appropriate for the day, rarely responding to urgency dictated from the command position, and doing so without undue focus on his performance metrics; he was a master at avoiding the radar. Perhaps my fondest memory, is when he was deeply involved as a participant in an online survey, "Hot or Not", during a very hectic morning at FVP; obviously, to Norm, here lied the urgency for the day. I'm saddened by his passing, but grateful to have been his associate while at FVP...he was a unique individual. May his soul be rewarded with eternal joy and peace, as his spirit will continue to live through all those he touched.

I worked with Norm at FVP.  He was always helpful and had the most funniest stories. You will be missed.

Norm you will be missed by many of us for a very long time. At first it was the frame in Arlington, then we started switching in the Merrifield cross-bar with Wilson, Langston, Mayo, Steigmeyer, Roberts... moved into cut-over crew at Springfield with MaCabe, Vito, Charlie Cox, Tom, Rosey, Shurstrum, Needlmeyer, Langston, Mickey...on and on. More offices more faces:Sims, Hughes, Carr, WT, Mary looked out for you and you for her.. SCC, SSC, NTC, NCC...Nights, evenings, days, OT, strikes...weekend diversions... camping, trips roadrips...You, Fred  and I in the mud a Carlisle or Hershey ...searching for our treasures....nevermore my friend..It's all ending much too soon for us....RIP

Norm and I sat together in the NTC for years and he was a fine human being who was always ready to assist on a trouble or share a witicism. We had also some good times away from work, shooting, camping and gold mining. I will miss him.

 Although it's been years since we worked together I still have fond memories of our time at Fairview Park.
 We worked hard but found time to have fun at work. Norm and I look similiar with our gray hair and beard and half the time our second level called me Norm and him Don. Norm was always a gentleman and willing to help others.
