Patricia Taylor

Patricia Taylor, age 74, of Alexandria, Virginia passed away on Saturday November 9, 2019. Patricia was born November 13, 1944 in Orange, New Jersey. She was married to loving husband James Scott Taylor for the past 8 years and is survived by brother William Millington (wife Patsy) of Montvale VA, son Robert W. Malloy (wife Jennifer) of Allen TX and daughter Christine J. Massowd (husband Joseph) of Sterling VA; and grandchildren Eddie Lashbaugh, III of Woodbridge VA, Tayler Spotswood of Plano TX, and Andie Baguley of Houston TX. Patty retired as an Administrative Assistant from the Federal government and also retired from Raytheon after 18 years of service. Patty was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved spending time with family and friends, and among her many passions were going on cruises, singing, her cats, wintering in Florida. Patty loved taking pictures and her customized greeting cards were cherished by all who received them. She was a certified scuba diver and loved spending time at the beach and in the water. Her generous and loving spirit will be sadly missed. A visitation for Patricia will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151. A memorial service will occur Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151.
