Of Springfield, VA, on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Arden Courts Assisted Living, Annandale, VA. Beloved husband of the late Peggy Carlson; loving father of Deborah Khun, Sharon Rowe and David Carlson. Carl is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held, Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 2 to 5 p.m. at DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA. A Funeral Service will be held at a later date at The Old Post Chapel at Ft. Myer. Interment will follow in Arlington National Cemetery.
