Loving father of Don (Bonnie Hastings) Hodges, Dave Hodges, Lisa (Brett) Farmer, Billy Hodges, Robbie Abercrombie, Mark Abercrombie, Mandy (Jason Weatherly) Brenner, and Nicole Kearse; dear grandfather of 30; great grandfather of 17; dear brother of Johnetta (Bill) Smith, Barbara Ott, and Robert Kearse; dear cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
Dan was an avid fisherman and University of Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
