Henry Louis Rauh, 85, of Maryland Heights, MO passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Regina; and siblings, Clifford, Charles, Kathy, and Margaret. Henry is survived by his children, Chris Rauh, Cindy (Rick) Sweet, and Tina (the late Mike) Valenti and their mother, Fern Golden; grandchildren, Amanda (Steve) Montgomery, Christina (Dwayne) Oetterer, Bryan (Sarah) Kontz, Justin Kontz (Jacquet), Matthew (Jessica) Kontz, Charles Rauh (Keith), Bonnie (Jeff) Kessel, and Daniel Valenti; great grandchildren, Steven, Landon, Liam, Marrisa, Sonia, Trinity, R. J., and M. J; and cousin and friend to many.
Henry was a proud Korean Conflict veteran and member of American Legion Post 338 in Overland. He was a member of the 101st Airborne Division and he was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Overland. Henry was a generous man who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He enjoyed Cardinal baseball, fishing, and league bowling with his family. His kind heart will certainly be missed.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2 p.m. Expressions of condolence are encouraged at www.alexanderstlouis.com and memorials are appreciated to the Parkinson's Foundation.
