Jan "Waz" F. Wojtanowski, age 75, of Saint Ann, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 3, 2023. He was born July 5, 1948 to the late Frank and Elaine Wojtanowski. Waz is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlotte (nee Holman), and a brother, Ryan Wojtanowski.
Waz was a man who enjoyed the beauty of being outdoors; from cruising in a boat down the Mississippi River, to riding on a motorcycle, or just hanging out at the VFW Post #3944. He took in his surroundings gracefully and was a good friend to many. Waz served proudly in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Waz leaves behind his loving son, Jason (Lynn) Wojtanowski, his loving grandson, Lucas Wojtanowski, and loving friend, Tiffany Gianella.
A celebration of life for Waz will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM at VFW Post #3944, 10815 Midland Blvd., Overland, MO 63114.
