

Juanita was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and spent most of her life there and surrounding areas, including Florissant, Missouri, until she moved to Plainfield, Indiana, in 2017, to be closer to her daughter and son. During her time in St. Louis and Florissant she worked at McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing, working in the graphic arts area producing proposals for aeronautics and aerospace, where they relied heavily on her knowledge and expertise in getting things done. She attended St. Dimas Catholic Church in Florissant, and Saint Susanna in Plainfield, Indiana. Faith was important in her everyday life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael B. Behlmann, Sr, her parents, Thomas and Ruby Chapman, brother, Gerald Leon Chapman, sister, Ruth McCloud, and stepchildren Patricia and Gilbert Behlmann.
She is survived by her children Dennis Wayne Medeiros and wife Sharon, Marsha Haveck and husband Paul, Kenneth Behlmann, Russell Behlmann and wife Kim, Mary Beth Holschen and husband Bill, Michelle Doering and husband Mark, and Michael B. Behlmann, Jr.
Family was always important to Juanita, who had twelve grandchildren: Tony Medeiros, Nichole Oates, Paul J. Haveck, Daniel Haveck, Ken Battle, Jacob Holschen, Samantha Ard, Eli Doering, Katharine Doering, James Behlmann, Ashley Behlmann, and Henry Behlmann. She also had ten great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, located at 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, on December 30, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for December 31, 2025, at 10:00 am at the same location, with burial at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
