

Rosene L. Ruzzo, (nee; Dennis) is resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the age of 84. Beloved mother of Tony (Rhonda) Ruzzo, Ralph Ruzzo, Kathy (Mark) Wilson and John Ruzzo; loving grandmother of Danny Ruzzo, Christopher Ruzzo, Macrina Ruzzo, Anthony Ruzzo, Zachary Ruzzo, Elizabeth Ruzzo, Domenic Ruzzo, Jonathan Ruzzo and Abigayle Ruzzo. great- grandmother of Loralai and Nicolas Ruzzo; Rosene is preceded in death by her husband Antoine Ruzzo, her son Ralph Ruzzo, her parents Frank and Helen Dennis, and her brothers Bob and Richard Dennis. Our dearest sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.
Rosene was born in St. Louis, Missouri where she grew up. She had three brothers and two sisters. She learned to make pie in her home economics class at Soldan High School. She then taught her Mother and Aunt Dorothy how to bake pies and make the crust from scratch. Rosene was famous for her homemade cherry pie, which she had to keep a close eye on as they were known to disappear.
Her sister’s, Mickie and Betty lead her to a USO dance where she met her husband Tony (Antoine). They were married on January 2, 1954. Four beautiful children followed.
Rosene and her family started attending glad tidings assembly in 1964. Each family member accepted the Lord Jesus as their savior. Rosene’s faith played a major role in her life and how she raised her children.
Rosene had the gift of writing that led to her writing poetry. Many of her writtings were centered around the Lord Jesus and his host of Angels, along with specialty poems for members of her family, she would present these as gifts to them which they will cherish forever. Rosene entered a poetry contest, which she won and she became a published author.
Rosene always saw the best in everyone. She was a very sweet and gentle person. Rosene was a shining example of kindness, love and compassion.
A funeral service will be held at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11 A.M. Visitation on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 3-8 P.M. Interment at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
