Audree Ann Sheppard, née Martin, age 87, passed away peacefully in her home on July 29, 2022. She was born on January 7, 1935 in Detroit, MI to the late Henry and Mercedes Martin. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, James Sheppard. She had four beloved children; Jeffrey Miller, Diane (Martin) Isaac, The Late Brian Miller, and Russell (Nancy) Miller. She loved spending time with her grandchildren; Felicia Miller, Philip (Autumn) Miller, Robert Miller, David Isaac, Michael (Elizabeth) Isaac, Matthew Isaac, and Christopher Isaac. She is survived by several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Valerie McCarver.
Audree retired from, and spent most of her working days at Colonial Federal Savings Bank in the mortgage payoff department. After retirement she enjoyed traveling all over the country and playing cards with her husband. She is a long time resident of St. Clair Shores. She was very religious her entire life, graduating as Valedictorian from St. David Catholic School. She had a lifelong group of friends called “The Club”. They were there for each other for all of the significant moments throughout their lives. She was an avid picture taker and loved to spend free time reading.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. (Instate 9:00 a.m.) at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 28301 Little Mack Ave., St. Clair Shores. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp, MI.
