My deepest sympathy and condolences to Carrie's family.  I played with those Gettleson and Patricca girls my entire childhood.  Even when suffering through her scoliosis disease and treatment thereof, Carrie was always upbeat and smiling. We always had a great time on St Margaret Street, a lot of it spent with Kristen and hanging out down by the old weeping willow tree.  Carrie and I shared a split classroom, she in 6th grade, myself in 5th. We were learning about countries and continents and since I was too busy being a class clown, I didn't know the difference. When Miss Stevens called on me and asked if the Antarctica was a  country or a continent, I looked at Carrie with ????? in my eyes and she mouthed me the answer. I still don't know which it is. Thanks for being my friend through our youth, Carrie - you were a beautiful person. See you in due time, sister ❤❤❤

 I will always cherish the friendship that we shared. I grew up on St. Margaret Dr. and have known Carrie since she was a little girl.  I send all my love to her and the rest of the family during this extremely difficult time. RIP Carrie.

I met Carrie when she opened her heart and her home to her nephew. What a wonderful person. May God pour His blessings down on her family

Carrie words don't began to describe how I feel about losing you. I will say this you were such a amazing, beautiful person inside and out, you could light up a room on a gloomy day. Carrie was my second cousin. 
  When the Lord calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange.  Hold on to your memories, and let them guide you during this time of sadness.

Our sincerest condolences to the family of Carrie Gettleson Burcar.  Doug (her Dad) and Ron were 1964 EDHS classmates, and like Doug and Amy, we lost  our first-born son 19 months ago, just  2 weeks before he turned 51, so we know the pain of loss you are going through.  May God give you His peace and comfort at this very difficult time.  Love you, Doug and Amy, and the rest of the family.

Carrie and I were inseparable in high school. I have so many memories of the fun we shared. Sending her family love and support through this difficult time. 

Prayers for the family. What an incredible loss. I haven't seen Carrie since we were kids, but had reconnected on Facebook when she started planning for a family reunion. 
I know she was deeply loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
