Catherine Theodorou, age 92, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to her late parents John and Sophie Barbas. Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Aristotle, and son Christopher Manos. She is survived by her loving children: John (Donna) Manos, Diane (Jim) Harmon; dear grandchildren: Nikolos, Carl (Trish), John (Amanda), Pam; great-grandchildren: Alexa, Austin, Megan, Hunter, Autumn, Jesse, Drake; and sister: Molly Conom. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Catherine was also preceded in death by her siblings: Tom Barbas and Rita Barbas. Catherine was always devoted to her Greek Orthodox Faith and was a lifetime member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the senior citizens of the church. Catherine was a secretary at Lakeshore Schools for 22 years, she taught ceramics classes, and played the organ at home for over 50 years. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society. Visitation, Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with an evening service at 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
