Betty was born August 21, 1930, in Detroit, to William and Agnes (Nugent) Owens. She was a devout Catholic and attended St. John Berchmans Catholic School as a child.
She was the heart and soul of our family, and her kindness knew no bounds. Betty found her greatest joy in her family and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She spent her summers in Lexington and was a snowbird during the winter in Florida before settling in St. Clair Shores. She shared many good times relaxing up north, taking long drives along the water, and watching her family grow. Her presence made every house a home, and her memory will be a lasting comfort.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Dube and her son Richard Dube. She was a beloved mother to Cheryl Dodt (Rick), Mary Kay Giambrone, Tom Dube, William Dube (Donna), her daughter-in-law Patty, and a treasured grandmother to 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A private service and celebration of life will be held for the family at a later date.
