Emily F. “Muszy” Farr, 91, long-time resident of Saint Clair Shores, MI, passed away on May 15, 2018. Born December 25, 1926 in Detroit, MI, to John and Anna Muszynski. Wife to her late husband of 39 years, Myles “Micky”. Cherished sister to late brothers Joseph and Edward. Loving mother of Clairann (Brad Risch), John, and Daniel (Amy).
Prior to and after her time raising her family, Emily worked as an executive secretary in the automotive industry. Before marriage she traveled extensively across the Unites States and Cuba. A gifted artist, she enjoyed painting, music, reading, attending plays and doting on her dogs. She was a talented baker and with her warm nature and great sense of humor loved to entertain family and her many friends. A proud child of immigrants, Muszy embraced her Polish heritage. A devoted Roman Catholic, she remained steadfast to her belief in the Lord.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Saint Clair Shores on Thursday May 31 at 10:00 a.m. ( Instate 9:30 a.m.). Emily will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
