Jeff,                                                 I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father.I remember you telling me about the good times you had working the various festivals and sporting events together.You have so many wonderful memories to cherish. My heart goes out to you, Jenny and the rest of the Gondek family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gondek Family,

I was honored to work with George for 5 years at Joe Louis Arena.  He was always a great guy with a wonderful smile, and demeanor.  He was always the first one to work, every game, arriving a few hours before any other person.  I admired his hard work and dedication to the merchandise department at JLA.  When I left in 2008 he was one of the employees I missed the most after leaving.  George will be missed by so many people.  To the whole Gondek family my sympathies and condolences for your loss.  Eternal rest grant to Georgie O Lord, and may the perpetual light shine upon him forever.

My sincere sympathy goes out to Jeff and Jenny and the entire Gondek family. I will keep you all in my prayers. Jeff, BERT passed away October 30, 2014. He always liked you very much. So sorry about your Dad.

Dear Gondek Family, 
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of George. I am lucky to have had the pleasure of working with George at Joe Louis and Cobo Arena where he and members of his family sold merchandise for the Detroit Red Wings and many concerts for years and years and years. 
I'll remember his smiling face , just as you see it on this memory page. I can't recall a time that George wasn't smiling and his good nature couldn't help but rub off on those who worked with him and new of him.

Gigi, I have a lovely memory of being at a wedding, and watching your parents dance.  They looked like movie stars.  Your dad  was graceful and gallant both on and off the dance floor. Sending your family prayers and love.
