Giles Nelson Brooks II, age 55, passed away on September 9, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 25 years, Jen; loving children: Russell (Tina) Brooks, Kelli Ziesmer, Kyle Ziesmer; dear grandchildren: Harleigh, Avie, Mandolin, Shelby, Damian, Kaiden, Haven; parents: Donna Brooks, Michael Berger, Joan Brooks, Sylvia Ziesmer; siblings: Martha (Mark) Larouche, Matt Brooks, Derek (Tina) Vandekerckhove, Craig Burger, Rayna (Tim) Blackburn, and Anna (Paul) Nagorski. Also left to cherish his memory are many loving relatives and friends. Giles was preceded in death by his fathers: Ernest Brooks, Clifford Ziesmer; brother: Ernest Brooks II; and grandparents: Giles and Ruth Brooks. He was the owner of Casar Management and Brooks Irrigation. He was a very loving man and loved every single member of his family with his whole heart. Giles enjoyed jet skis and was a member of the Water Warriors Mackinac ride that supports the Special Olympics in Michigan. He also enjoyed playing corn hole with his family, cars, traveling, four wheeling, helicopters, and camping. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral service on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with a gathering beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Private family internment at Port Austin Township Cemetery. The family asks that you NOT wear your Sunday best, please come as you are.
