James Hunter Banes Jr., age 95, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. James was born in Detroit, Michigan, to parents James and Edna Banes. Beloved husband of 20 years to Peggy L. Banes. Loving father to his children: James H. Banes III, Linda (Lance) Kreschmer, Michael (Lori) Banes, Carol (John) Fanning, his step children: Eugene (Nancy) Levell, Michael (Marylou) Levell, Joseph (Betty) Levell, and Daniel (Bonnie) Levell. James had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by many family and friends.
