The life of Mark "Marklar" Kinsella was cut tragically short on Saturday, June 7th, 2025. He became very sick very quickly, and the strain was more than he could bear. He took his final breath early Saturday morning, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 39 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, James. Mark is survived by his loving mother Nancy, siblings Patrick (Melissa), Meghan (James) VanOrsdal, Philip (Amanda), Maureen, and nieces and nephews Connor and Cassidy Kinsella, and Desmond and Shealyn VanOrsdal. Mark was an opinionated, yet soft-spoken and kind-hearted man. He was a voracious reader and lover of film. He was an animal lover. Everyone's pets always seemed to gravitate to "Uncle Mark." But the apple of his eye was his dog Zoe, who spent her entire life by his side. He was also a huge Detroit sports fan, most specifically the Detroit Lions. In a family full of Lions fans, he was Simba. Mark was a kind and gentle soul who was taken too soon from those who loved him. He will be remembered with love and fondness by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A memorial visitation for Mark will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a eulogy at 6:30 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.
