Born in Detroit, Michigan on July 26, 1921, a daughter of Boleslaw and Maryanna Lesniewski, she was united in marriage with Theodore Hanczaruk on May 6, 1945 in Detroit. The couple made their home in Detroit for 38 years and then later moved to Warren.
Mrs. Hanczaruk was a member of Historic Trinity Lutheran Church in Detroit.
She is survived by her four children: Thomas (Debra) Hanczaruk of St Clair Shores, Theodore (Barbara) Hanczaruk of Warren, James (Penny) Hanczaruk of Clinton Township, and Robert (Laura) Hanczaruk of New Baltimore. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore; two brothers Edward and Herman Lesniewski.
