Mr. Michael R. Parrish Sr.

Michael Richard Parrish Sr., age 82, of St. Clair Shores passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at his home. He was born Sept. 1, 1941 in Detroit. Mr. Parrish Sr. was a custodian at Lakeview Schools for 12 years after retiring from Chatham Supermarket for 30 years as a meat cutter.

Mr. Parrish Sr. is survived by his wife of 60 years Louise, whom he met on a blind date 62 years ago; children Michael Jr and Victoria Dommer; grandchildren Jessica (Larry) Waites, Alexi, David, Jewel and Michael; great grandchildren Elizabeth, Lylith, Sophia and William. He was predeceased by his children Matthew Parrish, Yvette Thompson, a grandson Matthew Jr., sister Frances Novak and a brother Richie Parrish.
