I have never met such a wonderful person as Nik.  He was truly special and I was so fortunate to have known him. He was a gentle giant that would bring a smile to your face when he was in your presence.  Truly Nik was a courageous young man that captured your soul.  He will be in my heart forever and I wish his family inner peace knowing he is with the angels now.  I was blessed just to have known him.

Gone but never forgotten. We find comfort knowing you've found peace, and you live on inside all of us. My most sincere condolences to Nik's family. There are no words big enough to heal this hurt. But if we live everyday, in Nik's likeness, together, each step will get a bit easier as we celebrate his love and his life always.

If height was an indicator of how good a person was, then I'd say Nik was right on. What a great guy. It's just terrible to see him go so early. God bless him, and all his family and friends.

A smile that was contagious and a personality that was admired.  My deepest n most heartfelt sympathy for your loss.

Nik has a heart of gold and is one of the most humble and caring human beings that I have ever met. There was not one family gathering where we didn't exchange a laugh as his 7'3 self came down to greet my 5'2 self with a hug and kiss on the cheek. I wish that I was able to have known Nik for longer, but feel honoured and blessed that I was given the privilege to get to know him over the past 2 years. His presence and contagious smile never failed to fill any room. My love, thoughts and prayers are with Nik's family during this difficult time. He will be missed by many and we will hold all of the wonderful memories close to our hearts.

We are overwhelmed with emotion and sadness with the loss of such a wonderful young man. Although he was taken much too early, his impact will forever be felt by everyone he came in contact with.  The kindness and love in his heart was bigger than his physical stature and he was truly larger than life.  God will take care of Nik in heaven and may he finally be able to rest in his afterlife.

His greeting was always so warm "Hi Mar" then he'd bend over and give me a hug.  There is nothing I can say to Tetak Lazo, Teta Milica, Nana, Beba and your families Ruza, Tina and Seja to express my sympathy...I can tell you that I will forever keep his smile in my heart and prayers.

I always looked up to my brother inlaw Nik but for more than just the obvious reason. His unconditional love for his family, his close relationship with his sisters and his great attitiude on life are just a few of the reasons. From the moment I started dating his sister Natasa, he welcomed me into the family with open arms. We shared many laughs and goodtimes over the years and even a close call or two Atv'n. I'll cherrish those moments and the  time spent with him forever. Watching him pick up our son Matija and lifting him over his head was priceless, and I'm still not sure who enjoyed that more, Mati or Nik? Nik loved basketball and I was priviledged to watch the NCAA final four games with him this year. I know he would have preferred to be out with his boys and I may not have been his first choice to watch those games with but he made me feel like I was. That's what Nik did, that's the magic of Nik. He and I would just look at eachother after a remarkable play and he would just smile that smile of his and shrug his shoulders. Mostly during that Michigan game :o(  Nik your memory will be eternal as you will be in our hearts forever and never forgotten.

Nikola was to us and to our children a kind, gentle and constant cousin.  He always welcomed us with  a smile, a hug and his deep and warm voice.  The kids seemed to naturally gravitate towards him.  We would like to express our heartfelt sorrow and sympathies to Tetak Lazo ,Tetka Mica, Nana, Beba and their families.  No words can possibly be enough to ease your pain.  May your faith and the love and support of friends and family, help you through this difficult time as well as those to come.  Marko and Aleks will always remember him with great fondness and  he always made me feel welcome into the family.  As for 
Predrag, Nik was an amazing cousin, who shared his bedroom with his big cousin when he first came to Canada and whom Predrag witnessed over the years grow into an amazing man.   Thank you Nikola for the ways you touched our lives.   You were loved by us all.
