Thank you so much for all the wonderful pictures!  Patsy had an incredible journey and leaves behind a rich legacy of love, family, and friendship.  The pictures of Pam brought to mind some of the sweetest memories, too.  I saw glimpses of her in all three of her "girls" who are now beautiful women.  It was lovely to see ALL of Patsy's "young'ns."  I'll miss hearing about your lives and growing families and wish you all the very best from God's hand.  In several of our last conversations, Patsy said how grateful she was to David and Carol.  Many times, I heard, "Thank God for David and Carol; they've been good to me."  I'm grateful to both of you, too...angels in our midst.  I'll always count it as one of God's greatest blessings to have had Patsy's friendship. I remember being so excited to visit with them on their place at Berryville!  I’m glad she’s reunited with Kenneth in heaven. She has a beautiful family that she was always proud of!  I remember Dave and Pam being in Berryville many years ago too!

I grew up with Patsy, Kenneth, Pam, Dave and Carol.  They were my family for so many years.  She was a sweet soul and kind person.  
Her love of cats has always been one of my fondest memories of her.  
A gentle person. 
While I am sad at her passing, she maintained as a classy act and great person.  I will miss her...

Patsy Jewell Weagel was the best friend I ever had. 

So many good memories beyond the telling flow along with the tears.  I loved to hear Patsy laugh.  I loved teasing her about her "Queen Elizabeth handbags" and how short she was.  I loved taking trips down memory lane with her.  My love for reading and interest in current events come from her.  I loved and will greatly miss our discussions about politics and social issues, and remain amazed at how right she was about so many things.  She was a patriot who unabashedly loved our country.  I'll always think of her when fireworks light up the night sky on Independence Day.

The delight in her heart when she spoke of her family was always evident.  She loved you all and spoke of you with such pride and joy.

Patsy was a wise, strong woman with a tender heart...a lifelong and tireless defender of lost kittens and of the unborn.  She fought the good fight.  And was there ever a better neighbor to have?  She was the best.

Throughout the years, Patsy fed me, sheltered me, counseled me, nursed me and kept in touch with me through all my early "wandering in the desert days."  She was a confidante and the most comforting shoulder to cry on.  She challenged me intellectually, showed me how to "carry on," and modeled what it means to "walk the walk."  When I was with Patsy, she made me feel like I belonged there.   When we spoke, she understood me.  She was like a mother to me.  I loved her.

Patsy was a constant, faithful, guiding light always pointing me toward the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  For 69 years, the Good LORD richly blessed me with her love, friendship, kindness and wisdom.  I believe, as she did, that Someone who loves her is waiting at the door with open arms and those precious words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

My heart is grieving, and I miss her so much already, but good bye is not the end.  Rest in peace in His arms, Patsy, until we meet again.
