Raymond A. Quinlan, age 91 passed away on January 13, 2021. Beloved Husband of Dorothy for 69 wonderful years. Loving Father of Susan, Mike (Sandy), Don (Anita) and Bryon (Joyce); Dear Grandfather of Jennifer (Mark), Scott (Gina), Shannon (David), Sara (Mike), Shelby (Scott) Cameron, Caylin (Shawna); Proud Great Grandfather of Brady, Taylor, Sophi, Luci, Alex, Benjamin, Mia, Logan, Sammie, Lainey, Brooks, and Ashton. Ray is also survived by sisters Anna Chapman and Maxine (Jack) Freeman.
Raymond was the go to guy for any household repair, and or remodeling projects. He loved to travel and camp, and one of his favorite destinations was Arizona. He enjoyed gatherings with his family and friends where he could socialize with everyone. Having extensive experience and knowledge with the heating and cooling industry, one of his many accomplishments was being a coauthor on a book detailing design, installation and repair techniques related to climate control. This book was used as a teaching aid for many of the heating and cooling trade schools. He was employed at GM for over 40 years, and was also engaged as a trade school instructor at Macomb Community College. Ray was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather who will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers donations in Ray's honor to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated by the family.
